We’re proud to share that our CEO, Maria Marin, has been recognized as the 2025 Unsung Hero Award winner by the Michigan Recycling Coalition (MRC)!

This award highlights the dedicated individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes to strengthen Michigan’s circular economy. Maria’s journey began in 1999, when she founded Unlimited Recycling as a one-stop solution for waste disposal, recycling, and transportation services for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients throughout Metro Detroit.

As a Stanford Graduate School of Business alumna and a Board Member of the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Maria has always led with a mission: to expand opportunities, empower local businesses, and uplift the communities we serve. Her passion for sustainability and her commitment to advancing diversity in Michigan’s recycling industry continue to inspire our entire team.
